QUALITY, ENVIRONMENT, OCCUPATIONAL HEALTH AND SAFETY
POLICY
UPS LLC performs construction and installation works in accordance with the applicable legislation of the Republic of Azerbaijan, other regulatory requirements, and the requirements of international standards AZS ISO 9001:2020, AZS ISO 45001:2021 and AZS ISO 14001:2021.
The Management of UPS LLC undertakes to achieve the objectives and targets established based on the requirements of the Integrated Management System, ensure competitiveness, and deliver services in accordance with customer requirements.
UPS LLC's Quality, Environmental, Occupational Health and Safety Policy is based on the following principles:
UPS LLC maintains continuous communication with customers and other interested parties, evaluates their requirements and expectations, considers them as a basis for continuous development, and strives to continuously increase customer satisfaction.
To ensure safety, UPS LLC defines the responsibilities and duties of all personnel in the field of safety, provides regular training and instruction programs to improve employees’ knowledge in quality, health protection, and occupational safety, and creates conditions for active participation and exchange of ideas regarding safe service delivery.
UPS LLC identifies internal and external factors affecting the Integrated Management System, potential hazards and risks that may hinder process execution and lead to accidents, and implements measures to reduce their impact and likelihood.
During the implementation of new projects, UPS LLC ensures environmental protection, proper waste management, responsible and rational use of water, electricity, paper and other wood products, and minimizes the use of energy resources.
All relevant health and safety incidents, including occupational injuries and occupational diseases, as well as safety-related technological incidents, are analyzed, causes are investigated, corrective actions are taken, recurrence is prevented, and responsible persons are held accountable.
UPS LLC determines actions to be taken during emergencies, approves an emergency response plan, and makes amendments and additions when necessary.
Responsible managers at all stages and levels of project management are accountable for occupational health and safety management at workplaces and for ensuring quality execution of work.
To improve compliance, adequacy, effectiveness, and performance of the Integrated Management System, regular monitoring, inspections, and annual internal audits are conducted. Based on the results, management defines improvement actions annually.
UPS LLC ensures that this Policy remains effective by reviewing it at least once a year to align with its strategic directions, objectives, size, and context, as well as risks and opportunities related to quality, environmental protection, occupational health and safety.
Management ensures that this Policy is understandable to everyone and accessible to all interested parties, including customers and employees.
