Polyethylene is a thermoplastic material that is stackable in many products.

It is formed from the abbreviation of the words "High Density Polyethylene", which is the English equivalent of its name. The development of technology has ensured significant progress in the construction sector as a whole, as well as in the composition of the necessary raw materials for the production of plastic pipes. Developed in the 1950s, PE pipes were first used in drinking water lines. Over the years,it has been improved and used in areas such as gas lines, sea water discharge, water drainage system, irrigation systems, mining, along with drinking water, and has become an economical and sustainable solution in these areas. These pipes have lower wall thickness and superior mechanical properties compared to other brands (PE 63, PE 80) pipes.

Among other advantages of polyethylene pipes along with the listed:

  • Thanks to its high flexibility, it provides easy assembly
  • Tolerance to seismic activity
  • Failure to crack
  • Suitable for underwater floors; resistance to salt water and underground movement
  • Not affected by chemicals
  • It is possible to note such properties as the fact that the water does not change taste and color, and is suitable for health.
  • In general, pipes with heat resistance up to 50°C are made of 3rd Generation PE material, which is the latest point in the field of petrochemical technology.

With proper installation and application, PE pipes can be used for 50 years or more.
